On August 9, 2025, WMST, a local driving and motorcycle training school, held the 1st Annual WMST Raffle Ride event. Riders launched from the WMST location in Mukilteo at 11 AM and then drove to participating locations. Every stop earned riders a raffle ticket for prizes. They could also answer trivia questions about rider safety for additional tickets.
GoodMFG donated a 13-foot flatbed trailer to the event. On August 12, we gave the keys and the title to winner Vlad Cherkasov, who was most excited as he drove the trailer out of the lot.
Vlad thanked WMST profusely as he took possession of the trailer, saying, “It wasn’t about the prizes, it wasn’t about winning, it was about community.”
Check out this short video of Vlad winning, and of Chris Johnson, CEO of WMST, describing how one of his students, Cheryl, went on to become Vlad’s driving instructor. Cheryl encouraged Vlad to join the raffle ride event.
As we trained Vlad on the use of his new trailer, we also got the opportunity to meet Vlad’s wife Viktoriia and to discuss their company, CleanConstra. CleanConstra is a construction and cleaning company that has completed multi-million dollar projects across the state of Washington.
You can catch the full interview with Vlad below.
On Friday, August 15, we got the chance to sit down with Chris Johnson himself. We spent a little bit of time talking about how his company came up with the idea of the raffle ride, about his history as a rider, and where he saw trailers fitting into rider safety.
On that count, Johnson had some personal experiences to share.
“Sometimes we ride socially. We go to track-based events, or destinations miles away. Some people ride dirt bikes. I’ve been to events, ridden events, and been super tired trying to get home. And thought to myself: I shouldn’t be riding right now. So having the access, having a trailer, is amazing.”
Later in the interview, Johnson reiterated that riding is inherently more dangerous than driving.
The hydraulic drop deck capability of the GT13FL or any other Good Trailer can help riders feel fresh and ready for their events because there’s no struggle to get the bike onto the trailer. Simply lower the deck, wheel the bike into place, and raise it up again so you can haul and go.
Here’s the full interview with Chris.
GoodMFG® is proud to be part of the greater riding community as well as part of the greater Snohomish County community. We’re proud that we were able to donate a trailer to this incredible event and that we were able to make a local business owner so happy through this donation.
As for Vlad, he says he’ll be using the trailer both for work and for play, as it can support both his riding passion and his construction business.
We look forward to seeing him do it!
