Good Trailers Overview

We offer both flatbed hydraulic drop deck trailers and hydraulic drop deck cargo trailers. Each trailer comes equipped with an array of features meant to make your hauling experience smooth, safer, and ultimately more fun.

The Hydraulic Drop Deck System

All Good Trailers offer a hydraulic drop deck system that lowers the trailer all the way to the ground at the touch of a button. The deck sits at 5.2” when all the way all the ground. An extremely low angle folding ramp helps you navigate those last inches with ease.

Foldable Tow Bar

On a standard trailer, you might have a detachable tow bar. But this means giving up storage space, whether inside the trailer or inside your towing vehicle. Some trailers don’t offer any option for getting the tow bar out of the way. On a Good Trailer, you can fold up your tow bar in a matter of minutes.

Galvanized Steel Chassis

Every trailer is built on a galvanized steel chassis that makes it ultra-durable and capable of handling almost every road. A Good Trailer is a great choice if you are looking for a trailer that’s capable of serving you for years.

Cargo Only: Patent-Pending Aluminum Panels

Our hydraulic drop deck cargo trailers are all outfitted with our patent-pending composite aluminum panels. We sandwich thick polystyrene foam between sheets of #5052 aluminum.

The result is a more comfortable trailer protected by R-4.5 insulation on the walls and R-5.45 insulation on the roof panels. These panels can also tolerate exterior customizations without reducing structural integrity, allowing us to build your trailer your way.

Cargo Only: 360° Interior Lighting

Why load in darkness? Our cargo trailers are all equipped with 360° soft LED lighting that helps you see every corner of your load. In addition to improving safety, this feature gives you the ability to load or unload in the late evening if you need to, all without bringing extra lighting.

Add-Ons & Customizations

Good Manufacturing offers a huge array of standard add-on options and interior fabrications that let us offer our two most popular trailer types: the office trailer and the concession trailer.

If our add-ons aren’t quite good enough to create the trailer you’re dreaming of, you can work with our design build team to create a trailer that’s ready to meet your needs.

Vs. Standard

Most standard trailers don’t lower to the ground, and so they have high deck heights and ramp systems that sit at a considerable angle, putting you and your cargo at risk. There’s always a chance that someone will make a misstep and fall.

A Good Trailer from GoodMFG® is the easiest trailer for small business people to own and unload.

Vs. Tilt

Tilt trailers are flatbed trailers that tilt the deck so that part of the ramp rests on the ground, giving loaders a slope to walk onto the deck and deal with the cargo.

  • Both systems use hydraulics.
  • Tilt trailers sit at an angle once tilted. Drop deck trailers sit directly on the ground.
  • Tilt trailers are only available as flatbeds. Our trailers are available as cargo trailers.
  • Tilt trailers are still at an angle, which means hydraulic drop deck trailers offer the safest way to load heavy equipment onto a trailer.

Vs. Competing Drop Decks

The primary competing drop deck trailers are Airtow Trailers and FlatTrak trailers. While both competing products are solid ones, we have taken pains to bring a product to market that offers more power and more options.

  • Both competitors use hydraulics.
  • All three options lower all the way to the ground.
  • AirTow and FlatTrak only offer hydraulic drop deck flatbeds. We offer an array of hydraulic drop deck cargo trailers too.
  • We offer the foldable tow-bar, which is unique to Good Trailers.
  • Our flatbed trailers are rugged and ready for action, and are comparable with both major competitors.
